Microsoft 2008 Launch Wave - Johannesburg
February 2008 is an interesting month on the South Africa Technology Events Calendar.
On 27 February the South African Launch event takes place for the the latest offerings from Microsoft. These are Windows server 2008, Visual Studio 2008, Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
The event will take place at the Sandton Convention Center in Gauteng. To attend individuals will have to register prior to the event date. Unfortunately I have not managed to secure an invitation as the event is already fully booked.
Also on the Event calendar is the Sun Tech Days from the 11th to the 13th in Sandton . This event will showcase a massive selection of Sun Technologies and is obviously generating a lot of interest amongst fans of Sun’s technologies (I am not one of them, though).
I might consider going just to see what Sun is up to these days.
