I recently upgraded to WordPress 2.5. I immediately noticed the feature that allows you to edit the text making up your permalink.

Besides the convenience, this feature allows you to select the best possible URL text from a SEO point of view. This means including the right keywords in your permalink text so as to improve the ranking of your webpage in search engine result pages (SERP’s).
