Is Exam 70-536 still important ?
The launch of Visual Studio 2008 caused me to panic. This release obviously meant that there would be a new family of certifications for VS2008.
I have already started on a certification path towards MCPD -Enterprise Developer and have invested in study materials for the first Exam, Exam 70-536: TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 – Application Development Foundation.
The six new exams for VS2008 are
•.NET Framework 3.5, Windows Presentation Foundation Applications.
•.NET Framework 3.5, Windows Communication Foundation Applications.
•.NET Framework 3.5, Windows Workflow Foundation Applications.
•.NET Framework 3.5, Windows Forms Applications.
•.NET Framework 3.5, ADO.NET Applications.
•.NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Applications.
Fortunately Microsoft announced that Exam 70-536 would continue to be the core exam for VS2008 TS certifications.
What a relief !
