Alexa’s ranking system has been overhauled and they say it is now a more accurate represantation of website popularity. Alexa claims they now rely on more methods of measurement other than the Alexa toolbar

This blog www.xhydra.com had an Alexa ranking of 2,121,224 as of yesterday but today it stands at 713, 120. An incredible gain of over 200%. All of a sudden I am in the top 1 000 000. The issue however lies in the accuracy of the Alexa ranking system….. which has always been in doubt.
My opinion is that the shortcomings Alexa has apply to this blog as well as other blogs/websites so Alexa’s system shows a rough indication of this blog’s ranking relative to other sites in cyberspace.

My next target is to hit the top 100,000 in Alexa’s ranking system
